Wedding at The Briars

I met Helen when I was probably 14 or 15 years old. Her and I rode at the same barn, and Helen was my CIT when we worked at an equestrian day camp together. Getting to photograph weddings where you have a history with the bride or groom is always extra special. When Josh and Helen contacted me about photographing their wedding, I could barely contain my excitement, actually i'm sure I didn't and squealed with joy. Josh and Helen where married at The Briars in Jackson's Point and Laurel Leaf Photography joined me as my second shooter. Josh and Helen had a first look that goes down in the books as one of our favourites. You'll have to scroll down to see the beauty and tears. I enjoyed being apart of their day so much, having friends in the bridal party was an added bonus, and finishing the evening in a sweet lodge that reminded me of Dirty Dancing just made the day even that much more incredible.
