BEHIND THE LENS
a little about me
What is an alabaster jar?
We're so glad you asked! Alabaster Jar takes its name from the story in Luke 7—a woman at the feet of Jesus, pouring out something precious in an act of wholehearted love and devotion. That image has always reflected what I want this business to be: an offering of the gifts God has given me, poured out in service to others.
That means caring for far more than the photographs. It may look like finding beautiful light and preserving the quietest moments of your story, but it can also look like piercing a bride’s ears when a hole has closed or holding a baby while mama tends to her toddler. It is simply loving and serving the people God places in front of me, in whatever way the moment calls for.
My hope is that you leave with art that will outlive the moment—and with the unmistakable feeling that you were deeply seen, beautifully cared for, and incredibly valued.

ALLICIA
GEORGE
I’m a lover of Jesus, wife to Quaid (well worth the wait—I married him at 38), and proud stepmom to two incredible boys. When I’m not behind the camera, there’s a good chance you’ll find me cheering on Q-Hoops Basketball from the sidelines, somewhere near a horse, or fully embracing Christmas long before it’s socially acceptable. I have an unapologetically high tolerance for Hallmark movies, believe December is far too short, and feel incredibly grateful for the life God has given me.
MY APPROACH

Unposed, Gently Guided
No stiff smiles. I offer quiet but clear direction and then step back, letting real connection unfold in front of the lens. Don't worry I will never leave you feeling uncomfortable and unsure of what to do.
Timeless Over Trendy
Neutral tones, true skin, film-inspired edits. Your gallery will age gracefully — never dated, never filtered beyond recognition.
The Value of Light
Every session is planned around the softest, most honest light available — window light, golden hour, open shade.
