Sydenham Sunset Family Session

Photographing another photographer is such a privilege and also a real nail biter! You post your first sneak peek and you wait for a response, do they love it? Are they over-joyed (no pun intended) they hired you? Well Joy from Pure Joy Photography's family was just that, a joy to photograph! The whole family made my job easy and I couldn't wait to show Joy the final images.

Capturing families is a way to really see how they do life together, because no child is really THAT behaved at a family session. Patrick and Joy's family continued to leave me stunned. Their oldest son, looked at a shot on the back of my camera and quickly affirmed my talent and make sure he was "putting me up" not putting me down! I let the kids run and play because the light was just so stunning, and it was totally worth it! Their children, probably use to a mom with a camera, posed so sweetly, and were SO willing!

I am all about building community not competition, and it would warm my heart to know someone I loved booked Joy for their next wedding, family or newborn session. Seriously people this woman is a JOY! My only disclaimer is that I have not shown most of my favourites because Joy will want her Christmas card images to stay a surprise for family and friends, so you'll have to wait until after Christmas cards go out for the full shebang! Anyways enough of me blabbing, here's the beautiful family!
