Scotland Engagement Session

This winter I have the privilege of capturing Martin and Fiona's wedding in Scotland. Getting to spend a day with these two was such a joy. The weather held up, which so far my experience in Scotland had been all four seasons in one day, the water was rushing by and the couple in front of the camera radiated the joy and love of Christ. I have to say, I (Allicia) am completely awkward in front of a camera, I usually put my hands in a choir position and they begin to creep up towards my chin, i'm not sure why, other than years of sitting for school photos. However my awkwardness has proven to be a gift, because I know that it can be hard to show love and joy in front of a camera as a couple, I can relate to how they feel and direct them and hopefully make them laugh. Well as soon as Martin and Fiona stepped onto the pebbly beach, my job was a breeze, they laugh together, Martin basically just stands in a model pose and Fiona barely can keep a smile off her face, which made for some beautiful pictures.
