Ottawa Newborn Lifestyle Session

I think this family frequents my blog almost as much as the Veley family! The Smith family, oh where to begin. Well clearly you can see that babies are popular right now, and we are having TOO much fun photographing beautiful newborns and their amazing families. Watching big brother and big sister, hold precious Naomi was too much cuteness! First I should explain the bunnies! Floppies (the bunnies names) have been given to each child, so to announce their pregnancy Brody and Jenna Rae used a floppy, so it seemed only natural to start the shoot with three Floppies, very used, pretty used and brand new. Lets also just give a shout out to Brody who build that headboard, seriously Pinterest aint got nothing on this man! I think new moms are so beautiful, I don't really notice their weight, their body or anything except this beautiful glow that just screams "I am a new mom and i'm so stunning...so there!" So making sure that Jenna Rae felt beautiful was so important to me, we arrived early so I could get some curls into her hair and do her make-up and then made sure she was comfortable, and boy did she rock it! Before I babble on too long I just need to share one thing. As we said in Baby Bryson's blog post photographing newborns is so hard, it's not as easy as Pinterest makes it look, and when we brought out a sweet tiny bed for Baby Naomi, Brody literally blew my mind! In about 3 seconds flat he placed Naomi on the bed, positioned her, tilted her tiny head and lifted his hands and VOILA a perfectly posed, squished newborn baby! Seriously people i'm going to start bringing him with me, you'll just have to see for yourself. Happy scrolling.
